This restaurant is one in a million! It’s a true local gem. Every single bite of food is incredible (the meatballs and the tiramisu are to die for). Our waiter Jeff was so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and really made our experience. We also got the chance to meet the chef, Sophia and she was so kind and cooks an incredible pasta dish. This restaurant has an excellent wine selection, and we were blown away by the tortellini. We will be back again and again, and hope to be regulars. You cannot go wrong with a meal here. A must try for all locals!!! Best Italian food we’ve ever had outside of Italy, and certainly our favorite restaurant in Indiana.

Freshly made pasta, breads with balsamic vinegar/olive oil. Gourmet moderate entree portions. Authentic Italian cuisine. Decadent desserts like tiramisu. Very busy Thursday evening. May need to park 2-3 blocks away. Not much seating capacity so might be waiting for a table but does have a bar counter. When at seating capacity could be on site a couple of hours if including appetizers. Be prepared to chit chat.

Roma is such a gem for the authentic Italian dishes in the area. We were there for celebrating my husband’s birthday. The atmosphere was cozy. Our waiter was sweet and accommodating. We did order Supplì for appetizer(perfectly fried, served on the bed of marinara). Gamberi e Pomodori Sechi and Genoveve Di Mare for entrees. The portions looked decent enough for 2 people but we were really full by the end of the meal. I will be back to try their house made tiramisu.

Had the best food there! I highly recommend, we got the meatballs as an appetizer and almost died from how good they were! Our server was amazing I forget his name but he was bald with glasses! Made the experience better than it already was. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. No complaints about any of the food:)

If you want authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place—but be prepared to wait! The food is absolutely worth it: they serve freshly made pasta and gourmet moderate entree portions. Start with the delicious breads and end with a decadent dessert like tiramisu. We visited on a very busy Thursday evening, and due to limited seating, you may spend a couple of hours here. Parking can also be tricky (2–3 blocks away). But for this level of quality, it’s a required stop!

What a grand way to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary! The food is delicious with homemade everything. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service exquisite! Our server, Jasmine, was attentive, friendly, and joyful. We loved the old space, but the new space is marvelous too. We highly recommend you give it a try and support our local family-owned businesses. They definitely exude love in everything they do!

Me and my family visited Roma Ristorante last night for the first time to celebrate my mom’s 69th birthday, and let me tell you—we were blown away. From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and never once made us feel uncomfortable for not speaking Italian. In fact, she made the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. We were so impressed with the menu that we decided to order a little bit of everything. For appetizers, we had the calamari, meatballs, pizza bread (I have to look up the exact name!), and the Brussels sprouts. Every appetizer was excellent—flavorful without being too heavy. I also loved how the bread was sliced into small pieces so you can enjoy it without filling up before the main course. Perfect for people like us who "saved up" all day for this meal! For our entrées, I ordered the pollo chicken and it was outstanding. I especially appreciated that they didn’t overload the plate with mashed potatoes—just the right amount, maybe a quarter to a half cup—and the roasted vegetables were cooked to perfection. My mom ordered the veal and loved it so much she saved the rest for lunch today. My dad had a gnocchi dish, my friend ordered a shrimp linguine, and my son got the spaghetti. The only downside: there is no kids menu, and the portion size for the kids’ spaghetti was pretty small. My son is 6 and he was still hungry afterward. But the staff made up for it—they gave my mom a complimentary birthday dessert, and Chef Sophia herself came out to talk with us for a good 5–10 minutes. She shared her training background in Italy, which you can absolutely taste in the food. She even gave my son some ice cream, which made his night. Overall, I would absolutely go again. My parents raved about the food all night. The ambiance was beautiful, they seated us at a great table, and every single thing—from décor to service to flavor—was spot on. Roma Ristorante gets a full 5 out of 5 from me. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and our server, Cheyenne, was so kind. She gave the best and most helpful food suggestions for the questions we had! She made my family’s experience quite enjoyable and we will definitely come back and request her again. Thank you, Cheyenne! -The Lee and Boor Family
